Pet transport route
Landing at Charles de Gaulle with your dog or cat? Our chauffeur meets you at the arrivals hall, handles your luggage and pet carrier, and drives you both straight to your London address via Eurotunnel Le Shuttle - no cargo holds, no separation, no stress.
Good to know on this route
Terminal tip: for Terminal 2E and 2F arrivals we meet you at the official meeting point just past customs - look for the name board. If you land at Terminal 1 or 3, send us your flight number and we will be at the correct arrivals hall; CDG's terminals are far apart, so we never ask you to walk between them with a pet carrier.
Your driver waits at the terminal with a name board, helps with trolleys and carriers, and settles your pet into a climate-controlled MPV. We track your flight, so delays never cost you the pickup.
CDG to Calais takes around 2 h 30 min on the A1/A26 motorways. At Coquelles we complete the pet check-in, then the 35-minute Le Shuttle crossing brings you to Folkestone. From there it is roughly 1 h 45 min up the M20 into central London, with comfort stops whenever your pet needs one.
Travelling France to UK, your pet needs a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination and an Animal Health Certificate or EU pet passport, plus tapeworm treatment for dogs 24-120 hours before arrival. We send you a checklist at booking and check every document before we reach the tunnel.
Your chauffeur collects you and your pet at your address in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) at the time that suits you. From there it is a calm, direct drive of around 285 miles - roughly 5 h 15 min door to door - in a private, climate-controlled vehicle. Your dog or cat stays beside you the whole way: no cargo hold, no handovers and no other animals on board, with comfort stops whenever your pet needs one.
At the Eurotunnel terminal we handle the pet check-in together - the microchip scan and document check usually take about 15 minutes - then your pet stays with you in the car for the 35-minute crossing. On the other side we drive straight to your final address in Central London, whether that is a hotel, a new home or a family doorstep.
The fare for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Central London is fixed before you book and starts from £690. It covers the vehicle, your dedicated driver, tolls and as many comfort stops as your pet needs. The Eurotunnel ticket is paid separately at the terminal, and we never add weekend or holiday surcharges.
